1997 PORSCHE 993 TWIN TURBO
The 993 Turbo is the last of the air-cooler 911 series and the last to have that classic 911 silhouette. The 3.6 litre twin turbo engine has air to air intercoolers and produces 408bhp. Enough to propel the car to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and on to 296km/h top speed. The six speed gearbox and viscous coupled four wheel drive system puts this power down and the all alloy multi link rear suspension helps iron out the corners. Details like the hollow spoke 18´´ alloys to reduce unsprung weight are typical of Porsche´s attention to detail. Even the air conditioning works well on this model.
